Google Analytics Direct Traffic, The Real Way … The Natural Way.

I have been creating content on my social media accounts (@Ryanhdlombard) for over a year now consistently and with the help of quite a few special characters in my life.

In my 3rd year 1st semester I encountered the means to learn the how to go forward and properly utilize Google Analytics for my web presence (actually using it to analyse my social media outreach). Direct traffic is an aspect and component of Google Analytics and one that I find more meaningful than most of the others. This kind of taffic is reported as direct when someone types a website URL into a browser or uses a browser bookmark to visit a website purely out of their own effort. Many people assume that direct traffic is ‘skewed data’ in Google Analytics and isn’t helpful when it comes to making data-driven decisions. This is not entirely the case.

Direct traffic is a form of motivation sparked up by an individuals or groups interest in seeking you, your brand, your company or more information about the concept of ‘you’ because they have been prompted to so. This means that they were interested enough to take the time and learn more about you without relying on shortcuts or links from their friends or paid results online. And this, in todays modern technologically laid-back society, would be saying a lot. For a person, especially from the younger generation to search out your presence online means that you have made an impression on that persons curiosity, and now imagine this on a much larger scale. Jay Shetty (Inspirational online figure); Logan Paul (Famous vlogger); Brent Rivera (Social media star) all envisioned it like this, and you can very easily witness their success now on their social media accounts.

‘When you live your dream, your dream will live after you.’ In order for me to realize my dream of penetrating the international film industry for God, I must understand the lasting and instilling power of Direct Traffic on a large scale. Its the way we perceive it.

“We Are Venom”

It’s finally here, the character called, ‘Venom’, that so many MARVEL Cinematic Universe fans were disappointed by with his portrayal in ‘Spider-Man 3’ through actor Topher Grace, will now be comic-accurately portrayed in the new upcoming film set to release on October 5th, ‘Venom‘, with the great Tom Hardy taking up the role as the character, ‘Venom’ .

Tom Hardy’s Venom and his long, slippery tongue made the meme rounds in May when the first trailer for Venom dropped.

In the second trailer, which was released on July 31st, Venom’s tongue is out in full force: He gives a full-on wet willy to one poor unfortunate soul in this trailer.

It’s safe to say, this trailer is a lot more Venom-ful. Hardy’s Eddie Brock-turned-Venom villain scales a raised subway track, defeats a S.W.A.T. team, destroys an office, and chats with a trembling man in a grocery store. This trailer gained an increased amount of marketable attention, so much that online businesses are utilizing the trailers current relevancy in the massive market of MCU fans and general movie-lovers, that they’re providing discounts with meals if they present the movie ticket to them on the day of release (October 5th).

Welcome to the world, Venom. Know that the internet is weirdly into you, just as it was into Thanos (Josh Brolin).

The Disney Take Over

Disney Take Over
Mickey and Bart are now co-workers

We all have fond memories of Disney and how the corporation shaped our childhood with excellent quality kids cartoons; gestures and cleverly executed puns hidden in almost every film for even the adults to enjoy. But Disney has come a long way. Such a long way that it has recently in 2017 taken ownership and proprietary film rights of Marvel Cinematic Universe (X-Men, Fantastic Four, Avengers, etc..), the Alien franchise, Pixar, Lucasfilm (Star Wars), ABC, and ESPN.

Now with 21st Century Fox up for grabs in a bidding war, that had its first bid within a matter of hours by Comcast and then quickly afterwards sniped by Disney (ofcourse), the game is on. This bidding was since received an exponentially increased raise in marketing awareness as it has been explicitly made clear by the 4th-wall breaking action acti-hero Deadpool in ‘Deadpool 2’. 20th Century Fox has seemingly been in favour of Disney and will conclude the shareholder vote with Disney’s most recent $71 Billion offer on 27 July 2018.

21st Century Fox accepted the sweetened, roughly $71 billion bid from Walt Disney for its entertainment assets on July 27th 2018, dealing a blow to Comcast efforts to acquire the business.

Considering that Disney has proved so capable at turning beloved cultural properties into blandly effective hit-producing machines, there are a handful of reasons to be at least slightly cautious about what it might do with all of its new found toys.

Me, Myself and Marketing

You can learn more about the official ‘H/D’ origin story by heading on over to my ABOUT ME page.

“If you want to see a difference being made in the universe, be that change you wish to see” – Gandhi

Prestige Academy College, the 2nd year subject of Digital Marketing Practice, is the precise area of modern marketing I am learning how to go forward with my vision and dream for ‘H/D’. What I aim to learn from this course, is to allow for a better understanding on how to generate constant successful exposure for my videos and the brand ‘H/D’ as a whole entity.

H/D

The purpose of the H/D brand will be to, at first, create a realm of visual content that will inspire a change (shift) in our universe. All through comedic short videos, as well as inspirational content. Once there has been a considerable amount of successful exposure and an exponential rise in followers (Instagram & Twitter), subscribers (Youtube), page likes (Facebook), then H/D Merchandise will be introduced to the world. Consisting of a male/female clothing line and backpacks.
